Together, the Counties Manukau Health system will enable equity in access and outcomes for Maaori, Pacific and communities with health disparities.
We will measure the impact we have on healthy life years every year.  This is our commitment to act and be deliberate in our choices and priorities.
This means that people will live longer healthier lives in the community.

Our strategy and values

Counties Manukau Health's shared vision is to work in partnership with its communities to improve the health status of all, with particular emphasis on Maaori and Pacific peoples and other communities with health disparities.

Counties Manukau Health is governed by the Counties Manukau District Health Board, which has 11 members. Seven are elected by the community and four, including the Chair, are appointed by the Minister of Health.
